This prayer request line is for anybody who wishes to be prayed for by the Fil-Am UCC and the virtual community worldwide. Let us lift them up to the Lord, they who need God’s tender care and loving assurance. Let us share each other’s burdens, weep with those who weep, rejoice with those who rejoice, as we link our hearts and pour out our prayers to God, whose mercy and grace are inexhaustible.  Let us pray without ceasing for as the Psalmist declares, “Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.” (Psalm 116:2)

–     Claude ‘Laloy’ Pal, that God’s healing mercy and grace shall be upon him as he battles non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Let us pray for the radiant light of Christ to be in his heart all through the days. Let us also pray for Joel and Jen and the rest of the family as they walk with him on the journey to full recovery until wholeness shall be restored.

 

–     Peter, son of Charlotte our sister from Union Congregational Church. It is with sadness that we announce the death of Peter yesterday afternoon (June 16).  Our prayers to the whole family as they mourn.

 

–     Alexander, a friend of Dinah from Macedonia who is confined at the Columbia Presbyterian Hospital after a brain tumor surgery. Let us pray for fast recovery and complete healing.

 

–     Kris-Janine Yu, we thank God for the successful heart operation at the Montefiore Children’s Hospital in the Bronx. She now displayed a lot of energy and will return soon to Samar to continue her studies.

 

–     Dennis Van Medel, we pray that he will find peace and healing in God’s hands as he continues to battle with cancer.

 

–     Atty. Jose Bermas, father of Irma Faith Pal, a prayer of thanksgiving for the improvement of his health. He has now recovered from pneumonia and rests at a nursing home. Praise be to God!
 

–     Meriam Brownie, she is a friend of Alice our sister from Pilgrim Congregational Church. We announce with sadness the death of Merian last June 10 (Tuesday). she passed away peacefully and now rest finally in the Lord. 


 

–     Mileva Dime, a fellow Sillimanian who is battling breast cancer and heart ailment. She's scheduled for her 5th round of chemotherapy, however she got pneumonia and is currently hospitalized. Her WBC is less than 2, which makes her very vulnerable to infection. Let's pray for healing and strength.
